Japan is coming over to sightsee around Greece's land, but they are being followed/interviewed by paparazzi along the way. Japan gets embarrassed, saying that people will find out that they're countries, but he's more worried about people thinking that they're a couple. Including Japan denying some of Greece's "ideas", possibly hurting him in the process (Greece not thinking they were as 'close' as he previously thought)

Oh, quick note - I’m using Japanese honorifics in this chapter to signal Kiku’s sudden feeling of awkwardness. I know I had not used them before, but in my head-canon Herakles has been trying to break him of the habit for years, and it is only in times of duress that he forgets himself and uses them. And for some reason he calls him “Hera” in his head.

Notes: -THIS IS REALLY LONG. it's a bit upwards of 23,000 words D: each part has a link to the next at the bottom of the page.
-since this takes place in Japan, I left the honorifics out and would ask that the reader read as though they're implied. I left in Korea's calling China all kinds of weird names, though, because that's not as normal as "-san" etc.

I have not been the most attentive mod (so sorry about that *cringes*), but seeing other participants' contributions to the exchange make me thrilled, especially since so many of them are wonderful to see/read!

That said, there are some participants who have not posted their gifts yet (, kagenohikari, grisseykey (although I got your PM, so don't worry), and well, myself). If you're one of them, please let me know (you can comment here and it'll be screened for privacy) if you're still planning to fill for your recipient. If you can't, don't feel shy or ashamed to admit it; real life and/or writer's block can have a nasty habit of getting in the way at inopportune times (as I know full well >_>), and I can still arrange a pinch-hitter to make sure that your recipient does get something in the end.

(If you haven't gotten in touch with me by Friday, I'll go ahead and assign a pinch-hitter to your recipient.)

If you can, don't sweat about being late; even if the deadline passed yesterday, I'm sure that we'll all still be delighted to get anything Giripan even if it's not February anymore. We still have a few more weeks of winter season, after all. :)
